Job title: Senior Director, Health System Services Strategy - Evernorth - Remote Company: Cigna Job description: The Senior Director, Health System Services Strategy will drive a cohesive health system services strategy for Evernorth and execute a go-to market approach, leveraging a portfolio of capabilities across the enterprise to maximize health system touch points and relationships. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring influential partnership with exec level business leaders across the enterprise and core support functions, such as Finance, Technology, Legal, etc. as the strategy is built and executed. The strategy has the potential to impact and touch nearly every line of business across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for helping the organization realize new value creation from the strategies developed and deployed. Essential Functions: Responsible for developing, executing and owning a cohesive strategy for maximizing health system relationships that exist across the enterprise. Will serve as a subject matter consultative resource on trends impacting health systems and identifying solutions to help meet health system needs. Responsible for building a go-to-market strategy that combines the above into a cohesive health system offering for Evernorth. Responsible for executing the new strategy to ensure we realize the full value, and tracking value realization Will lead future expansion phases once initial “land” phase is established to capitalize on introducing other Evernorth and Cigna solutions to health systems. Qualifications: At least 12 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, product development and management, and/or business development within healthcare. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree and/or MBA is preferred. Deep understanding of the provider/health system landscape and market, including the top pain points and issues that providers/health systems face, their multiple interfaces with insurers and vendors, and ideally established relationships with top health systems in the market. Pharmacy knowledge and experience is preferred. Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence to gain alignment from key stakeholders. Strong relationship building skills and the ability to interface at the exec level both internally and externally. Combination of strategic planning, product development and management, business development and process improvement skill sets and experience. Executive presence and exceptional communications skills. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $165,200 - $275,400, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
