Junior Editor

BANG is a brand storytelling studio that blends agency strategy with boutique film craft. We partner deeply with brands and in-house teams to make work that resonates in culture. We’re looking for a Junior Editor - someone hungry to grow, organized in the edit, and eager to be mentored into creating work that matters. This role is about both craft and trajectory: starting with foundational tasks and building into an editor who can own projects with creative confidence. What you’ll learn: • How to find the nuance and story from hours of raw material • How to stay organized and move stress-free under deadlines • How to build modular projects that can iterate and adapt • How to pace differently for short ads, brand films, and long-form stories • How to use sound design, music, and dialogue to elevate emotion • How to handle feedback and present options that protect the story • How to version work cleanly across social, web, and broadcast • How to hand off projects smoothly into color, mix, and finishing What we’re looking for: • Strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro • A reel or samples that show an eye for rhythm, pacing, and story • Communicative, detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with deadlines • Include a pizza emoji in your response if you're truly attentive to detail. • Teachable and eager to be mentored • Passion for cultural storytelling that can support a brand objective Qualifications: We don’t believe a degree is what makes a great editor.
