About the position
Responsibilities
• Schedule patients for appointments with multiple specialty practices.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a high call volume environment.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to address patient needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a customer service or call center position, preferably in healthcare.
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
• Ability to work with diverse groups under stressful conditions.
• Ability to process a high volume of calls in a technologically intensive environment.
• Effective multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft software applications preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Associates Degree or continued administrative education preferred.
