Remote Revenue Analyst - American Airlines
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Remote Revenue Analyst to join our American Airlines team. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will play a critical role in maximizing revenue for a geographic location within our network. You will utilize advanced models and tools to forecast changes in the competitive environment and passenger demand, and develop in-depth expertise of the market and pricing/yield strategies to drive a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

- Use advanced models and tools to forecast changes in the competitive environment and passenger demand
- Develop in-depth expertise of the market and pricing/yield strategies to drive a competitive advantage
- Leverage a variety of news and research to identify high-level trends and strategies to make evidence-based decisions
- Collaborate with business counterparts and build relationships with partner teams to identify opportunities to improve revenue performance
- Presents unique analysis and strategies to senior leadership, designs departmental business strategies, and analyzes the effects of fare and inventory changes on market performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Aviation Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Commercial Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of core economics that pressures the airline industry, with the ability to translate regional trends into market-level movements
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and present insights to senior management
- Ability to use data to make evidence-based decisions, negotiate, influence others, and create consensus to achieve results
