Customs Brokerage Representative II - Remote Opportunity
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Representative II to join our team at UPS. As a remote employee, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and communicating documentation discrepancy issues with customers and foreign origins, auditing commercial documents, and ensuring compliance with federal requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and forward customs entries to designated locations, interfacing with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers.
- Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, and coordinate freight delivery to designated locations.
- Audit commercial documents, apply harmonized tariff schedule codes, and ensure compliance with federal requirements.
- Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues, and establish and maintain client relationships.
- Perform administrative tasks, including preparation of reports/presentations and analysis using various software packages and databases.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations, and other government departments.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of the HS system.
