Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Development Representative to generate qualified new opportunities in the US Enterprise and Mid-market segment for Cloud, Data, AI, and Security services. As a strategic hunter, you will:
- Generate leads through extensive outbound calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn prospecting
- Develop new business opportunities by analyzing strategic enterprise account potential, setting up new appointments, and increasing visibility and relationships in the account
- Collaborate with territory sales representatives and Rackspace Partners (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) on joint business development for the territory
- Maintain and update accounts, track progress in CRM, and prepare customized decks for sales calls and presentations
- Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management and campaigns, and create and execute plans for business development
In this metrics-driven, high-velocity SDR/Business Development environment, you will work cross-functionally with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to drive results.
Desired Skills & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 4-6 years of experience in Inside sales, business development, or appointment generation for Enterprise/Mid-market accounts with cloud services
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build relationships with senior-level executives
- Strong listening skills, objection handling, and articulation
- An ability to take rejections without getting bogged down and a willingness to learn and grow
- A team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to building a world-class team and a solution-oriented sales approach
- Self-confidence, strong work ethics, and a focus on improvement, innovation, and bottom-line results
