As a highly skilled case management professional, you will provide exceptional support to employees navigating leave of absence and disability life events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a single point of contact for employees throughout their leave of absence or disability event, providing holistic case management services and support.
  • Initiate and respond to inquiries about leave and disability events, benefits, and options available to employees.
  • Review medical documentation to adjudicate leaves in compliance with leave plans, federal and state laws, and benefit plans.
  • Critically assess and adjust case management plans to meet changing employee needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, address sensitive situations, and facilitate smooth return-to-work and ramp-back plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Benefits, and Payroll, to ensure seamless case management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or High school or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, Human Resource management, or Case management/Leave & Disability management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic US legislation Leave of Absence, Disability, and/or Accommodations knowledge (ADA/ADAAA and FMLA).
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Prior Leave and/or Accommodations experience.
