Job Summary
As a Senior Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 10 strategic clients in the Mid-Atlantic United States. Your mission will be to deepen relationships, drive growth, and optimize programs to reduce costs and drive efficiencies. You will serve as a payments expert, providing policy expertise, benchmarking, and recommendations to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and optimize client programs
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, collaborating with internal resources to drive spend expansion
- Lead proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations for client renewals and expansions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and cross-functional teams within client organizations
- Influence and innovate to overcome complex client barriers and resolve escalated issues
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of strategic relationship management and/or sales experience
- Proven track record of driving growth and optimizing client programs
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to establish relationships at C-levels and within cross-functional areas
- Entrepreneurial approach to portfolio management, with ability to identify opportunities and manage through the sales process
- Experience working in a virtual environment and ability to work flexibly
