Senior Applications Developer, Automated Testing

About the position Responsibilities • Develop automated tests for the digital platform supporting VS & Co websites and mobile applications. • Enhance the VSTAE framework and CICD pipeline. • Collaborate with IT teams and product owners to ensure project success. • Mentor and support the growth of less experienced team members. • Design and implement technical test strategies and automation. • Gather functional requirements and estimate automation work. • Communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the team and business partners. • Participate in 24x7 on-call support activities. • Create detailed documentation and identify recurring problems. • Provide code review coaching and feedback on delivery quality. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. • 5 years of experience in Java development. • 5 years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Kibana, Grafana, Jira, and Apium. • 5 years of experience with design patterns and reusable libraries such as Singleton, Abstract Factory, Page Object, Adapter, Log4j, Spring Framework, and Faker. • 5 years of experience with testing approaches for APIs, mobile applications, application performance, and web applications. • 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Software Configuration Management tools including GIT and GIT Flow, Stash, Harness, Bamboo, and Jenkins. • 5 years of experience applying Risk Based Testing (RBT) principles.
