About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Digital Marketing Manager to support our growing performance marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of DTC, this role will support day-to-day operations and long-term strategy planning and execution across ecommerce, paid media, CRM, and social commerce platforms with an emphasis on paid media and TikTok Shop management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and excited to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Director of DTC in strategizing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives across the website, Dieux's subscription business, paid media, ecommerce, CRM, and TikTok Shop.
• Build, maintain, and communicate the digital marketing calendar internally and to agency partners, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders and channels and adapting to / communicating changes swiftly.
• Support ecommerce operations, including product launches, promotions, site merchandising, QA, new feature development/UX updates, and feature optimization, leveraging data to inform priority projects.
• Coordinate with brand and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely asset delivery across digital touchpoints/to all external agencies.
• Manage ecommerce acquisition channels in collaboration with the Director of Digital and appropriate agencies, including SEM and SEO. Explore new strategies for growing traffic and online sales.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance and ecommerce KPIs, including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, engagement, paid media performance metrics
• Stay on top of DTC and beauty industry trends, tools, and digital best practices to inform testing and innovation.
• Spearhead the management and optimization of Dieux's full-funnel paid media efforts across Meta, Google, and TikTok (including TikTok to website, and TikTok shop advertising) in partnership with the Director of DTC and external media agency.
• Help lead creative testing efforts by tagging, tracking, and organizing content based on performance, usage rights, and audience segmentation.
• Support affiliate-driven UGC campaigns by collaborating with brand team/Affiliate lead in securing paid media rights, managing usage terms, and streamlining the handoff of content to our agency for paid influencer partnerships.
• Partner with the Director of DTC to execute and refine Dieux's TikTok Shop strategy, including promotional and launch campaigns, exclusive bundles, and surprise-and-delight moments.
• Own the day-to-day management of TikTok Shop: product listings, storefront updates, bundle creation, and creator coordination.
• Work closely with the internal Affiliate lead and Affiliate marketing agency to activate TikTok Shop affiliates on an evergreen, launch, and promotional basis, in alignment with the brand marketing strategy and TikTok Shop goals.
• Track and report on key TikTok Shop performance metrics, including sales, engagement, conversion rate, and customer behavior trends.
• Work closely with the brand and content teams to ensure the storefront and PDPs reflect best practices for discovery and conversion on TikTok Shop.
• Collaborate with the CX team to monitor and improve TikTok Shop customer satisfaction metrics.
• Support CRM strategy and retention efforts specific to TikTok Shop, in partnership with the Director of DTC.
• Liaise with our TikTok Shop account rep to ensure strategic inclusion in platform-wide campaigns and maximize visibility, identifying which promotions or activations make most sense for Dieux to participate in.
Qualifications:
• 35 years of experience in digital marketing and ecommerce, preferably in beauty, wellness, or CPG.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven success in developing and implementing digital plans that drive engagement, new customer acquisition, and sales.
• Extensive experience working across the digital ecosystem and optimizing digital marketing and sales channels, especially Paid Social, Paid Search, Display, Affiliate Marketing, and SEO/SEM.
• Strong experience in Shopify and CRM platforms (Klaviyo and Attentive preferred)
• Strong understanding of digital analytics and reporting capabilities with strong knowledge of GA4/Google Analytics.
• Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to conduct analysis, draw conclusions, and drive actions based on multiple data sources.
• Experience in strategizing around and managing paid media campaigns, working closely with agencies to optimize campaign structure and explore new advertising and traffic acquisition opportunities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with developers on UX/UI enhancements and bug fixes.
• Analytical mindset with a thorough understanding of performance metrics.
• A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in collaborative environments.
• Agility to pivot between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
• Comprehensive understanding of the digital customer acquisition funnel and ecommerce ecosystem.
• Previous experience with both Google Suite, Dropbox, Figma, and Asana programs.
