Remote Pharmacy tech/ CPhT/CMS/MEDICARE Part D 23.00 AN HOUR + 5 PTO DAYS Through April 2015-chance of extension Will this position be required to work onsite for any reason at any time? No, Resource will be able to perform this role offsite. Engagement Description – This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service health care payer Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours). • Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors' offices. • Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system • Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit • Work from home – private and quiet workspace required Ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – The most important must-have skills. • Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years • Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc) • Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include: • Exceptional Customer Service • Detail Oriented • Ability to multi-task • Willingness to accept change Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience.
