Licensed Social Worker
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on crisis intervention, behavioral health, and social work. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the lives of clients through effective counseling and support strategies.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in distress, utilizing effective crisis management techniques.
Utilize motivational interviewing to engage clients and encourage positive behavioral changes.
Offer counseling and support in areas such as child welfare, workforce development, and Section 8 housing assistance.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide mentoring to clients as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay informed about best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
A degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health settings.
Familiarity with Medicare policies and procedures is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and families.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
