About the position The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various financial and HR/Payroll software applications. The position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities • Manage billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable/credit cards. , • Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations. , • Process payroll using outsourced software. , • Handle human resources tasks, including employee engagement activities and onboarding/offboarding. , • Conduct office administration duties. , • Prepare custom reports and assist with special projects as required. Requirements • Proven experience in an accounting role, particularly in billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. , • Prior experience processing payroll. , • Experience using accounting software, particularly Quickbooks, is preferred. , • Advanced Excel skills, including filters, Vlookup, and pivot tables. , • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently. , • Excellent oral and written communication skills. , • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. , • Meticulous attention to detail. , • Exceptional time management skills. , • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines with minimal supervision. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. , • Experience with Microsoft Excel for at least 2 years. , • Experience in billing and accounts receivable for at least 1 year.
