About the position The City of Bixby has scheduled a recruitment period for firefighters / EMT's. This position involves responding to emergencies, providing medical assistance, and participating in fire suppression activities. Applicants will be required to undergo a testing process that includes a general aptitude written test, a physical agility test, and a state-required physical examination. Responsibilities Requirements • Be at least 21 years of age , • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent , • Must have the minimum of National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (N.R.E.M.T.) Basic Certification to apply, N.R.E.M.T. Advanced /Paramedic preferred , • Possess a driver's license , • Have a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier , • Have no felony convictions.
