CAD Drafting Technician

PrideStaff is looking for a CAD Drafting Technician for a client located in Arvada. This is a temp to hire opportunity based on client need and employee performance. CAD Drafting Technician Duties: • Produce CAD drawings for design, sheet metal manufacturing, floorplans, riser diagrams, and details that vary in size and scope • Receive design documentation and produce submittal drawings • Recreate designs to fit into standard size • Use FA experience to help develop prefabrication solutions • Create point to point wiring details • Maintain and track project drawing files, associated records and documentation • Review own drawings and co-workers drawings for quality and accuracy CAD Drafting Technician Requirements: • Extensive working knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) • Experience using AutoCAD to create detailed electronic working plans, charts, and scale drawings for the manufacturing industry • Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings • Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards • Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate • Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with other professionals • Experience working as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors and following instructions from customers PrideStaff Top rated staffing company 15 years in a row. • We get your resume in front of the right people. • With strong relationships with a variety of companies, we match job seekers to positions that fit them. • We meet with job seekers and work with them one on one.
