Gifted and Talented Teacher

Description: • The G/T Teacher is responsible for ensuring quality Special Education services are provided. • Reports directly to the Director of Student Services. • Expected to provide Special Education Services to their caseload and identify gifted areas. • Manage Gifted and Talented caseload and communicate with stakeholders. • Ensure students receive services as outlined on their ALPs. Requirements: • Possess a Gifted and Talented Education endorsement • Valid Colorado G/T teaching license • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive) • Experience using Zoom, Canvas, and online teaching tools • Ability to pass a background check • At least 2 years experience in the field of Gifted and Talented Education • Experience in delivering online G/T services strongly desirable • Proven experience working with school staff, students, and their families • Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment • Advocacy skills and the ability to work with other staff members to achieve WAC’s Standard of Excellence • Ability to respond effectively to the needs of diverse students and families • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a digital environment • High degree of flexibility with an aggressive growth mindset Benefits: • Health Benefits • 401K Apply Job!
