Summer Intern – Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction
Job Description:
• You will learn to develop and support in the development of a variety of learning materials for a K-12 student audience.
• Asynchronous instructional activities
• Multiple choice assessment items
• Educational video scripts or supplemental help videos
• Perform quality assurance checks on soon-to-be released curriculum materials
• Assist in the development of a standards-based curriculum organizational system
• Participate in various synchronous and asynchronous professional development and training activities.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, completing an Advanced Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Knowledge of the structure of an effective lesson
• Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially written
• Proficiency in using Google Suite
• Excellent attention to detail
• Growth mindset and motivated by constructive feedback
• Proven ability to work independently, manage schedule, and meet deadlines
• High standards of integrity and transparency
• Access to a computer/laptop (with camera) and reliable high-speed internet connection.
