Why This Role is a Great Opportunity • Temp-to-hire position with strong potential for long-term placement • Gain exposure to commercial transportation claims and complex cases • Work with a collaborative, experienced team • Opportunity to grow your skills in litigation, subrogation, and vendor management What You’ll Be Doing • Handle and adjust Auto Physical Damage claims for commercial transportation • Review coverage, investigate claims, determine liability, and evaluate damages • Manage claim files to ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution • Oversee litigated claims and support the litigation process • Coordinate with vendors, including independent adjusters • Identify subrogation opportunities and assist with salvage recovery • Communicate clearly with insureds, clients, agents, and brokers Requirements What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of claims experience (commercial transportation preferred) • Strong understanding of coverage, liability, and claims handling practices • Experience with estimating tools like CCC or AdjustRite is a plus • Familiarity with deductibles, sub-limits, and SIRs • Ability to obtain and maintain state adjuster licenses Skills That Will Set You Apart • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and claims systems (FileTrac a plus) • Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach Compliance & Data Security At Vanguard, protecting sensitive information is a top priority.
