QA Tester (Senior / Analyst Level 3) – Microsoft Dynamics CRM | NYC311
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Tester (Analyst Level 3) to support the NYC311 program, a critical platform connecting residents, businesses, and visitors to essential New York City services. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the Customer Service Management System (CSMS) built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and related web/mobile platforms.
You will play a key role in validating system enhancements, defect fixes, and integrations across a high-impact, enterprise-level environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and CRM systems
• Validate Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications and online portals
• Review requirements for completeness and testability; provide QA sign-off
• Identify, track, and resolve defects using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Develop and maintain test scripts, traceability matrices, and QA documentation
• Support test data creation, deployment validation, and release cycles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, PMs, and stakeholders
• Contribute to test automation (Selenium WebDriver with Java) and performance testing efforts
• Ensure accurate reporting of QA progress, risks, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of QA experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience with SDLC and QA methodologies
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure DevOps / JIRA / QC (test management & defect tracking)
• Selenium WebDriver (Java) for UI automation
• API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
• Experience testing web-based (HTML) applications
• Ability to validate system integrations (real-time & batch data)
• Familiarity with data formats (XML, JSON, CSV)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Knowledge of SQL and reporting/query tools (e.g., Power Query, Crystal Reports)
• Experience testing mobile applications
• Understanding of SOA, REST/SOAP APIs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
