Senior Threat Hunting & DFIR Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Threat Hunter. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat hunting, and incident response. You will perform threat hunting tasks on multiple engagements, develop detection strategies, and collaborate with clients to strengthen their security posture. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct proactive threat hunting using behavioral analytics, threat intelligence, and anomaly detection. • Develop and implement custom detection logic and hunt methodologies. • Analyze large datasets from SIEM, EDR, and other telemetry sources to identify malicious activity. • Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and remediate threats. • Provide strategic guidance to clients on improving threat detection and response capabilities. • Contribute detailed reports and present findings to technical and executive stakeholders. Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2 years of focus on threat hunting, EDR, and incident response. • Strong knowledge of adversary tactics (MITRE ATT&CK), malware analysis, and threat intelligence. • Proficiency with tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or similar. Certifications (Preferred): • GCFA – GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst • GCTI – GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence • GCIA – GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst • GCIH – GIAC Certified Incident Handler • OSCP, CEH, or other relevant certifications Key Attributes: • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. • High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
