Senior AWS GovCloud DevOps Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Level 4) to: • Design, build, and deploy secure, scalable Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions in AWS GovCloud or other high-compliance cloud regions. • Use deep expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform. • Work independently and collaborate closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure compliant, production-ready environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design and optimize secure, high-performance VDI environments in regulated cloud regions. • Develop and maintain scalable IaC templates using Terraform (Pulumi experience is a plus). • Ensure cloud infrastructure reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with Security, IT, and Compliance teams to align architecture with organizational standards. • Document architecture, processes, and configurations for team knowledge and scalability. • Drive continuous improvements in deployments, monitoring, and automation. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Senior-level experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (Level 4). • Expertise in Terraform for managing cloud environments. • Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Proven experience delivering secure, production-grade cloud systems. • bility to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Skills: • Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud deployments. • Familiarity with Pulumi IaC frameworks. • Experience with VDI solutions in regulated sectors like government, defense, healthcare, or finance. • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or DFARS. • Strong technical writing and communication abilities for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
