A leading organization at the forefront of online higher education student recruitment is seeking a Senior Admissions Leader to lead and scale a high-performing enrollment function. This is a confidential search for a strategic leader who can drive measurable results, strengthen university partnerships, and elevate the performance of distributed admissions teams.
This role part enrollment strategy, part client engagement, and part operational leadership, supporting traditional universities as they expand further into the online education space.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional admissions role. It is a leadership position focused on building, optimizing, and scaling enrollment operations across multiple university partners. This role will oversee a team of admissions leaders, own performance outcomes across a portfolio, and serve as a key strategic partner to client institutions.
You will play a central role in helping universities grow their online programs in a sustainable way, while maintaining alignment with their mission and long-term objectives.
Key Focus Areas
Department Leadership and Performance
• Lead and develop a team of admissions leaders, creating a strong leadership pipeline and high-performance culture
• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple teams, ensuring consistent execution and accountability
• Drive enrollment performance against aggressive growth targets across a portfolio of university partners
• Implement scalable processes that improve efficiency, student experience, and outcomes
Client Engagement and Partnership
• Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for university partners
• Align enrollment strategies with institutional goals and program growth objectives
• Build strong, consultative relationships with stakeholders across partner campuses
• Navigate complex challenges and escalations with professionalism and sound judgment
Growth and Strategy in Online Higher Education
• Leverage data, market insights, and performance metrics to refine recruitment strategies
• Support new program launches, partner onboarding, and expansion initiatives
• Identify opportunities to enhance enrollment effectiveness and long-term sustainability
• Contribute to broader organizational strategy as online education continues to evolve
What We Are Looking For
• Proven experience leading admissions, enrollment, or customer acquisition teams in a high-volume environment
• Strong track record of driving measurable growth and hitting performance targets
• Experience managing leaders and building scalable teams
• Ability to operate as both a strategic partner and operational leader
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data to inform decisions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across stakeholders
Preferred Background
• Experience working with or supporting traditional universities in online program growth
• Background in third-party education services, enrollment management, or similar environments
• Deep understanding of the admissions lifecycle and student journey
