We're proud to be a remote-friendly company, allowing our employees to work from the comfort of their own homes while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to policyholders, providers, and interested third parties through heavy phone contact, email, and correspondence. * Processing policyholder requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and complete information is provided. * Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information, staying up-to-date on industry developments and regulations. * Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency. * Utilizing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. * Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with tact and professionalism. * Demonstrating strong decision-making skills, analyzing situations, and making logical conclusions to resolve customer issues. * Working in a fast-paced environment, handling high-stress situations calmly and professionally. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred. * At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus. * A life and health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired. * Excellent customer service background and good phone skills. * Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Excellent alpha and number recognition skills. * Demonstrated mathematical abilities. * Basic PC skills, including typing at least 30WPM. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling high-stress situations calmly and professionally. * Reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position. **Physical Requirements** As a remote worker, you'll need to: * Have a dedicated home office or quiet and designated space to work in. * Have a fire extinguisher in your home for safety purposes. * Have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before starting work. * Be able to work 40-hour workweeks, with regular and predictable attendance. **Additional Requirements** * You must reside in the Greater Houston Area. * You'll be required to have a company workstation provided by arenaflex. * We're following social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, with all interviews and training transitioning to a virtual platform. **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we offer a range of benefits and perks, including: * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * Access to industry-leading training and development programs. **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
