**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
* Work in a team environment to achieve the goals of our organization
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Utilize our modernized retail location framework to manage tagging and registration, boarding, baggage handling, and freight services
* Process payments, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons
* Balance daily transactions, manage overage or lack, and maintain accurate records
* Inspect baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information, page clients, resolve issues, and assist on a case-by-case basis
* Manage oversold, delayed, or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve issues quickly and within established guidelines
* Provide current and accurate information on charges, schedules, reservations, flight departures/arrivals, and general inquiries from clients and other airport guests
* Complete forms and reports as required by the organization
* Write anomaly and complaint reports as needed
* Perform other work duties as directed by management
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
* Willingness to learn and understand tagging procedures, rules, and guidelines
* Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
* Ability to complete the Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
* Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
* Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turnaround of aircraft
* Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, understanding the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
* Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space
* Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in-person, and on public location systems effectively
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to communicate information and guidelines verbally or through radio equipment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
* Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
