With a strong commitment to quality and excellence, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. **About the 988 Crisis Chat Program** The 988 Crisis Chat Program is a critical component of arenaflex's crisis support services, providing emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals in need through online chat and text services. As an Online Crisis Chat Text Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the program's success, overseeing the supervision of Crisis Chat Counselors, and ensuring the highest level of quality and support for our clients. **Responsibilities** As an Online Crisis Chat Text Supervisor, you will be responsible for: * Providing supervision and support to Crisis Chat Counselors, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality support to clients * Monitoring all crisis chats and texts to ensure quality and adherence to program policies and procedures * Conducting weekly individual supervision sessions with Counselors to discuss their performance and provide feedback * Completing weekly quality assurance reports with Counselors to ensure program standards are met * Providing training to new Crisis Chat Counselors to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality support * Collaborating with the Assistant Director of Crisis Services to discuss program operations, concerns, and potential improvements * Meeting with the Assistant Director regularly to discuss program performance and make recommendations for improvement * Ensuring that each Counselor completes 1.5 chats/texts per hour and that the program responds to 2,171 chats/texts per month * Responding to crisis chat/text visitors as needed to support Counselors on shift * Ensuring that thorough documentation is completed for all crisis chat/text * Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure program compliance and quality **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred) * At least 1 year of experience in mental health services, preferably in crisis intervention services, suicide prevention, and intervention * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to function successfully in an environment requiring immediate response to urgent situations * Spontaneous supervision of staff in real-time * Knowledge of and familiarity with local and statewide community resources * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Computer skills with various software, including Microsoft Products * Ability to work independently with confidence, as well as lead a team of professionals * Consistently adheres to call center program policies, procedures, and schedule based upon call center needs * Arrives to shift on time and properly attired * Must be mature, empathetic, flexible, and adaptable to varying situations and coverage needs **Work Environment and Culture** As an arenaflex team member, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
