Responsibilities
• Translate problem statements into testable hypotheses and run reproducible experiments
• Implement prototypes and evaluation harnesses in Python; maintain experiment logs for repeatability
• Perform statistical analysis, error analysis, and baseline/ablation studies
• Collaborate on dataset curation, data labeling strategy, and QA evaluation to improve training data quality
• Document results, risks, and recommendations via clear technical writing and research summaries
Skills
• Mid-Senior experience delivering applied research or R&D outcomes in a STEM domain
• Strong experimental design and statistical reasoning (e.g., hypothesis testing, confidence intervals)
• Proficiency in Python and common data science tooling
• Experience with ML evaluation, dataset versioning/curation, and training data quality workflows
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, asynchronous teams
• LLM evaluation, prompt evaluation, or RLHF-adjacent workflows
• Familiarity with annotation guidelines compliance and vendor/ops labeling programs
• Exposure to MLOps and experiment tracking for reproducible research
