Remote Answering Service Operator Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Schedule: Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Shifts Location: Remote Job Description We are a 24/7 remote answering service supporting a variety of businesses. Our operators handle inbound calls and follow specific instructions for each account to ensure accurate and professional message handling. We are currently hiring dependable and detail-oriented individuals for morning and afternoon/evening shifts. Schedule • Morning shifts start times range from 5:30 AM - 7:45 AM PST • Evening shifts may run as late as 11:00 PM PST • Some weekend and holiday hours are required • Must be reliable and consistent with scheduled hours Responsibilities • Answer inbound calls for multiple client accounts • Follow detailed instructions for each account • Use critical thinking to determine how to handle messages i.e. hold as non-urgent or dispatch urgently • Take accurate messages Requirements • Moderate typing speed and basic computer skills • Ability to multitask and stay organized • Team-oriented with a positive attitude • Dependable attendance and reliability are required • Comfortable learning new systems • Prior computer experience preferred • Maintain a professional and friendly tone of voice even during periods of high call volume Work Environment • Must have a quiet, distraction free, private workspace • Ability to maintain confidentiality, as calls may include sensitive information • Must be able to stay focused and attentive during busy periods Technical Requirements • Reliable wired high-speed internet • Personal computer or laptop capable of running required programs • Noise cancelling headset Benefits • Health benefits available (HSA or health insurance options) • Paid vacation time • Fully remote position • Supportive team environment Training • Paid training provided • Wage increases available after fully trained Please Call us at 530-872-6500 and leave a voicemail in order to apply.
