Workday Administrator - HRIS HCM - Healthcare - Remote
Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Remote, Workday Administrator to join a healthcare company located in Brooklyn, NY. Position is fully remote, must be available for working hours 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Eastern Time, Monday - Friday. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years related experience with Workday Systems, prior healthcare or service-oriented setting experience, preferred.
Workday Administrator The Workday Administrator manages, configures and supports the organizations's Workday infrastructure acting as the primary expert for system functionality and data integrity. They are responsible for business process configuration, security management, reporting, and troubleshooting, often implementing semi-annual updates. They will work with multiple departments to ensure proper data, updates and issues are resolved while supporting business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the HR and Payroll leadership to support all phases of the Workday implementation.
• Assist implementation partner with configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Serve as the primary Workday Administrator post-implementation, maintaining system functionality and data integrity. Responsible for setting up post live features.
• Manage ongoing system maintenance, updates, user access, security settings, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain system reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Provide user support, including training( both in person and via video) issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments such as HR, Payroll, and IT to continuously enhance system performance.
• Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Monitor Workday updates/releases and manage adoption of new features and enhancements.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of direct Workday experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Workday administration, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or Workday certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or service-oriented environment is a plus.
