Staff Accountant, Remote Job

The Role NetReputation is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you'll help maintain the financial health of a fast-growing, industry-leading company by managing bookkeeping, accruals, month-end closing, financial statement preparation, budgeting, billing, vendor payments, and client invoicing with precision and integrity. What You'll Do • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper approvals • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies • Schedule and prepare outgoing payments (ACH, wire, credit card, or checks) • Track and categorize expenses for reporting and budget analysis • Apply incoming payments and reconcile client accounts • QC and create bank deposits • Assist with the month-end close and support audits • Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP • Diagnose and fix errors in the accounting system • Provide ad hoc reporting to the CEO and Controller What We're Looking For • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred) • 2+ years of bookkeeping or other hands-on accounting roles • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations • Commission calculation experience is a plus • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities • Independent thinkers with a can-do attitude • Stripe & Zoho experience highly desirable Why Join Us At NetReputation, we're leading the charge in online reputation management — and behind every great company is a solid financial foundation.
