You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other members of the engineering team. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative support experiences for customers of arenaflex's devices and digital products, through intelligent self-service solutions and enabling our tech-support organization with tools and technology. **Key Responsibilities** * Solve large-scale and difficult engineering problems with elegant and practical code * Work across teams to help define engineering best practices and standards, and provide technical mentorship to other members of the engineering team * Be a champion for the customer and ensure their needs always come first * Design and build software for mobile, front-end clients, and server systems * Work on creating services using GenAIA * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions * Participate in agile development strategies and contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy work environment **A Day in the Life** As a software development engineer on our D2AS team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building software for the Amazon Echo to creating innovative support experiences for customers. The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include: * Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage * Maternity and Parental Leave Options * Paid Time Off (PTO) * 401(k) Plan **Basic Qualifications** * 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience * 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience * Experience programming with at least one software programming language **Preferred Qualifications** * 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent **Compensation** Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
