You will be responsible for driving "sell-through" by educating premium beauty retailers on our CSA Philosophy (Vitamin C, Sunscreen, Vitamin A) and ensuring our brand presence is flawless. You will manage a territory of high-volume doors, building deep relationships with Store Leadership to ensure Medik8 is the #1 recommended clinical brand on the floor, while actively managing budget and team performance to meet strategic goals.</span><br></p><p id="E387"><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p id="E391"><span>1. Sales Strategy & Commercial Growth</span></p><ul><li><p id="E393"><span>Own the sales performance of your territory, delivering target KPIs and achieving the overall Sales Plan.</span></p></li><li><p id="E395"><span>In partnership with leadership, develop and execute the territory strategy and event door strategy to achieve retailer sales targets and provide Year-Over-Year growth, with a focus on maximizing ROI.</span></p></li><li><p id="E397"><span>Analyze weekly sell-through reports to identify opportunities and gaps. Analyze sell-out trends and report monthly on sales KPIs.</span></p></li><li><p id="E399"><span>Plan and execute high-impact "Event Days" and "Brand Takeovers" to drive traffic and conversion, ensuring sales targets and ROI benchmarks are achieved.</span></p></li><li><p id="E401"><span>Strategically manage your calendar to prioritize Top doors and high-potential locations.</span></p></li><li><p id="E403"><span>Define and manage the customer experience at the point of sale.</span></p></li></ul><p id="E406"><span>2. Education & Training (The "CSA" Expert)</span></p><ul><li><p id="E409"><span>Execute high-impact ESVs (Education & Sales Visits), "shoulder-to-shoulder" training on the sales floor, distilling Medik8’s complex science into digestible, sales-driven "hooks."</span></p></li><li><p id="E411"><span>Lead "Cluster Trainings" and "Morning Briefings" to inspire premium beauty retail staff, where available.</span></p></li><li><p id="E413"><span>Master the "Vitamin A Ladder"—educating staff on how to transition customers from Retinol to Retinaldehyde (Crystal Retinal).</span></p></li><li><p id="E415"><span>Host in-store training sessions for sales teams and conduct new hire onboarding for store staff.</span></p></li></ul><p id="E418"><span>3. Team Leadership & Development</span></p><ul><li><p id="E420"><span>Manage, coach, and track the sales and training performance of any direct reports and/or freelance team members.</span></p></li><li><p id="E422"><span>Recruit, interview, and onboard all new direct reports in partnership with leadership, HR, and Education team.</span></p></li><li><p id="E424"><span>Provide consistent onboarding, training, and management for all direct reports and freelance in your territory.</span></p></li><li><p id="E426"><span>Ensure achievement of key retail metrics like “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals for your team.</span></p></li><li><p id="E428"><span>Manage and audit timekeeping/payroll procedures according to payroll timelines for all direct reports and freelancers.</span></p></li></ul><div id="contents"><p id="E430"><span>4. Relationship Management & Advocacy</span></p><ul><li><p id="E433"><span>Build influential, collaborative partnerships with premium beauty retail District Managers, Store Managers, and Education Leads.</span></p></li><li><p id="E435"><span>Execute regular business reviews with in-store retail partners to communicate trending business and negotiate elevated store training opportunities, merchandising placement, and event strategies to drive retail sales growth.</span></p></li><li><p id="E439"><span>Manage the Gratis program at the store level, ensuring the "right" products get into the hands of the "right" influencers on the floor.</span></p></li><li><p id="E443"><span>Act as the primary feedback loop between the stores and the Head of Sales, advocating retailer needs with internal cross-functional partners.</span></p></li><li><p id="E447"><span>Diplomatically address and resolve any store-level challenges to maintain strong relationships and ensure solid brand integrity.</span></p></li></ul><p id="E450"><span>5. Visual Merchandising & Operations</span></p><ul><li><p id="E450"><span>Maintain the Medik8 Gondola and/or NBT Wall to global brand standards.</span></p></li></ul></div><ul><li><p><span>Oversee execution of merchandising, promotional, and launch calendars, ensuring all brand guidelines are upheld.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor inventory levels in-store; alert the Commercial Planner of potential out-of-stocks or shipment delays.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure all testers are hygienic, full, and presentable.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Negotiate with store personnel to gain space and improve locations for all product categories.</span></p></li></ul><div id="contents"><p id="E462"><span>6. Reporting & Business Analysis</span></p><ul><li><p id="E464"><span>Adhere to budgetary spend commitments, inclusive of Travel and Expense and Freelance Resource Management.</span></p></li><li><p id="E466"><span>Track and analyze competitive promotions for future planning and conduct competitive research.</span></p></li><li><p id="E468"><span>Utilize internal reporting tools (e.g., Power Bi) to evaluate retail trends and assess shifts in resource management.</span></p></li><li><p id="E470"><span>Maintain organization and manage administrative deadlines, including but not limited to: travel bookings, expense reports, weekly sales recaps, event recaps, and store visit schedules.</span></p></li><li><p id="E472"><span>Provide quarterly recaps highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.<br></span></p></li></ul><p id="E476"><span><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span><strong>Language</strong>: Ability to speak both English and French is a must.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong field experience in prestige beauty (Skincare preferred).</span></p></li><li><p id="E482"><span>Solid previous experience working within premium beauty retailer environments.</span></p></li><li><p id="E487"><span>Proven track record of managing a multi-state or multi-province/multi-door territory.</span></p></li><li><p id="E489"><span>Experience in a role with direct reports (highly preferred).</span></p></li><li><p id="E491"><span>The "CSA" Passion: A deep interest in clinical skincare and the ability to explain "Retinal" vs. "Retinol" without blinking.</span></p></li><li><p id="E494"><span>Entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced retail pivots.</span></p></li><li><p id="E496"><span>Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.</span></p></li></ul><p id="E498"><span><strong>Travel & Logistics:</strong></span></p></div><ul><li><p><span>Ability to travel 80%+ of the time within the designated territory.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reliable transportation required (Standard IRS reimbursement for mileage).
