What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based systems. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to customers around the world. Here's what you can expect:

• Build End-to-End Solutions: Design and develop complete cloud solutions on platforms like Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll create scalable, reliable systems that handle millions of transactions daily.
• Backend Development: Utilize your expertise in Java or Spring framework to build robust backend services. You'll work on APIs, microservices, and server-side applications that power arenaflex's operations.
• Frontend Development: Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React or Angular. You'll work closely with design teams to bring creative layouts to life while ensuring optimal user experience.
• Containerized Deployments: Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes or similar systems. You'll ensure our applications are deployable, scalable, and maintainable across cloud environments.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. You'll automate testing, deployment processes, and ensure code quality across our development teams.

• Real-Time Systems: Develop and operationalize solutions for near real-time, high-volume streaming scenarios. You'll handle data processing at scale while maintaining system reliability.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Dive deep into complex issues, debug challenging problems, and provide effective solutions. You'll be comfortable working at the code level to resolve production issues.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies, explore new tech stacks, and propose innovative solutions. You'll be willing to research, experiment, and implement new approaches to solve problems.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent formal education or relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of qualifying work experience in Information Technology or an engineering environment. An advanced degree may offset some of the experience requirements.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Backend Development Skills: Strong experience in backend development using Java or Spring framework.
• Containerization Experience: Knowledge of Kubernetes or comparable systems for containerized deployments.
• Frontend Development Proficiency: Experience with frontend development stacks including React or Angular, with the ability to implement creative design specifications.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database concepts and experience writing SQL for relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Agile Environment Experience: Comfort working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, including working with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to research new technologies, explore tech stacks, and find solutions through deeper investigation and troubleshooting.
• CI/CD Expertise: Understanding of and demonstrated experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-On Development Skills: Ability to work at the code level and assist in debugging difficult-to-solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Power Platform technologies (PowerBI, Power Apps) is a plus
• Experience with supply management tools like Git and Azure DevOps (ADO)
