Position Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Remote AWS Web Developer to join our dynamic Technology Operations (TechOps) team. This is a fully remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States while contributing to meaningful projects that shape the future of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Architecture and Innovation: Develop Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) tasks to validate new architectural approaches and innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Full Stack Development: Write, grow, and maintain high-quality code across front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless integration between client and server-side applications.

• Requirements Analysis: Analyze user requirements to derive comprehensive software layouts and performance specifications that meet business objectives.

• Documentation Enhancement: Provide guidance for improving technical documentation and software development process standards across the organization.

• AWS Services Utilization: Utilize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront to build and deploy robust web applications.
• Performance Optimization: Work closely with the development team to ensure all applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues, minimizing downtime and resolving incidents quickly.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following:

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience with web development and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• AWS Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront is essential.
