What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to travelers and ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell air journeys to the traveling public and freight forwarders, showcasing arenaflex's extensive route network and premium services while meeting sales targets and customer needs.
  • Passenger Assistance: Provide comprehensive help with passenger check-in processes, including ticket issuance, boarding pass generation, seat assignments, and load acceptance procedures to ensure efficient customer processing.
  • Travel Guidance: Interpret and communicate authority guidelines and requirements for both domestic and international journeys or shipment shipments, ensuring customers have all necessary documentation and comply with regulations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Meet and dispatch aircraft within established timeframes, coordinating closely with ground operations teams to maintain punctuality and operational excellence.
  • Customer Support: Provide assistance to troubled passengers and clients, handling complaints, rebooking requests, and special needs with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Revenue Protection: Protect company assets and revenue through accurate transaction processing, fraud prevention awareness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Safety Compliance: Provide for a safe travel experience by following all safety protocols, maintaining awareness of security requirements, and reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Physical Requirements: Possess the physical capability and dexterity to perform various job-related duties, including operating computer systems, handling documents, and managing physical tasks as required.
  • Multi-tasking: Utilize strong organizational skills to perform multiple duties within limited time periods, prioritizing effectively to meet customer needs and operational deadlines.
  • Independent Performance: Work self-motivated with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving abilities, and accountability for your work area's performance.
  • Emergency Response: Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all passengers and team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow internal and external regulations and procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, FAA requirements, and company policies.
  • Operational Flexibility: May be required to drive and perform air stairs operations for various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers when needed.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for overall performance within the work location and may be required to guide and direct the work of other employees, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Communications: May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication as well as tower coordination functions when necessary.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High school degree or GED equivalent is required.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language clearly and professionally.
  • Bilingual Abilities: Additional language capabilities are highly valued and may be required for certain locations or customer populations.
  • Valid Licensing: Must possess a valid driver's license as required by local authorities for positions requiring vehicle operation.
  • Background Clearances: Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable to your specific role.
  • Security Badges: Must be capable of securing appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable to the position.
  • Availability: Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in travel, hospitality, or transportation industries
  • Experience with reservation systems and ticketing procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations gracefully
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations and customs procedures
