The ideal candidate will have experience in local app development (iOS or Android) and a proven track record of managing stakeholders and external partners. This person will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team that delivers capabilities for arenaflex customers to make their purchasing experience frictionless and exquisite. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead improvement for in-depth mobile initiatives surrounding upper-funnel capabilities such as homepage, income, class, authentication, and landing stories, along with architecting and developing new features, software protection, and refactoring, and accelerated performance and automation. * Review code and provide guidance for different builders participating in our launch approval system. * Be obsessed with code quality and first-class engineering, ensuring that all code is thoroughly reviewed and meets the highest standards. * Use statistics and metrics to collaboratively drive impactful adjustments and improvements. * Frequently interface and collaborate with first-rate, UX, backend/API, product, analytics, and other teams. * Although generally focused on Android, collaborate with iOS and full-stack teams to ensure answers are robust and aligned. * Lead by example; promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and excellent engineering through mentoring, tech talks, and workshops. **What You'll Deliver** * At least 2+ years of expert Android development on publicly available apps. * A passion for writing clean, readable, and thoroughly examined code, and an eagerness to share your knowledge with others. * A mastery of Android basics, interacting with endpoints, debugging, and memory control. * Experience in architecting or designing complex features with product managers or other stakeholders. * A deep understanding of software patterns, including MVP, MVVM, MVI, and VIPER, as well as sync patterns. * A willingness to learn new libraries and technologies, staying on the cutting edge of the evolving mobile landscape. * A strong belief in positive and respectful code reviews as the foundation of a healthy team. * Expertise in UI/UX development, cloth design, and first-class practices. **Nice to Have** * Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Graphlet. * Ruby or similar scripting languages. * Experience with Go-platform with iOS and/or full-stack. **About arenaflex Benefits** * Organization Website: Visit the official arenaflex website and navigate to the Careers or Employment section.
