Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client license portfolios, ensuring the successful implementation and release of our Business License Services for enterprise customers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal partners, coordinating, organizing, and directing the entire onboarding process while managing the completion of work by other team members and departments.
This position offers a unique blend of project management, customer success, and consultative account management, making it ideal for professionals who excel at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a laser focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Specialist – Project Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our enterprise customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Portfolio Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of client license portfolios, from initial implementation through ongoing management and renewal, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction at every stage.
- Enterprise Implementation Leadership: Lead the successful implementation and release of Business License Services for enterprise customers by applying specialized knowledge and best practices in project management.
- Primary Customer Liaison: Serve as the main contact for customers and internal partners, building strong relationships and acting as the trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.
- Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate, organize, and direct the entire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction for new customers from the outset.
- Team Leadership: Manage the completion of work by other team members and cross-functional teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure project milestones are met.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, customer satisfaction, or timeline adherence.
- Planning and Resource Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resource allocation, and ensure optimal utilization of team members and assets.
- Scope Management: Effectively balance time, budget, and quality to deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining profitability.
- Customer Lifecycle Management: Manage the post-sales customer lifecycle, including ongoing assistance, customer renewals, product improvements, and up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to maintain customer loyalty and maximize customer lifetime value.
- Problem Resolution: Under moderate guidance, responsible for solving moderately complex problems following established procedures, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Management, or a related discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Alternative Qualification: If no degree, three (3) years of consultative customer service or account management experience, or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of consultative customer service, working in the licensing field, or project management experience (or equivalent).
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This is a fully remote position.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Excel skills with the ability to maintain complex spreadsheets and analyze data effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with partner representatives, government agencies, colleagues, and clients.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Certifications
While the following qualifications are not required, they would be highly valued and may set you apart:
- Five (5) or more years of consultative customer service or account management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with arenaflex business practices, processes, products, and services.
- Knowledge of process and project management standards and methodologies (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).
- Experience in corporate governance and regulatory compliance environments.
- Strong data capabilities and comfort with technology platforms and tools.
- Experience in government licensing or permitting services.
- Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) or similar credentials.
- Experience working with enterprise-level clients in a subscription or license-based business model.
