Fractional CFO — 45 Minute Paid Customer Research Interview
I'm an early stage founder building an AI-native financial intelligence product for small businesses (agencies, service firms, and solo S-Corps in the $150K to $5M revenue range). Before I build further, I'm talking to experienced fractional CFOs to understand how you actually work with clients day to day and where the biggest pain points sit.
This is customer research, not a hiring conversation. I'm not looking to retain a CFO. I'm looking to learn from people who do the job.
What I'm offering:
- $175 flat rate for a 45 minute video call
- Paid through Upwork on completion
- One call, no follow up expected unless you want to stay in touch
What I'm looking for in your background:
- Active or recent fractional CFO experience working with small businesses
- Ideally some clients in the $500K to $5M revenue range
What we'll cover:
- A typical week with one of your clients
- The first things you do when onboarding a new client
- The questions your clients ask you most often
- The biggest cash flow and tax mistakes you see owners make
- What tools you and your clients use today, and what's missing
- Your honest reaction to the product concept
