Senior Data Analytics Engineer
SUMMARY
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining analytical models, dashboards, and data products that surface meaningful intelligence across the organization. Additionally, this role partners closely with application development, data engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable, well-governed analytics solutions aligned with regulatory and client requirements in the financial services industry.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic data models that support operational and executive decision-making.
- Builds and maintains statistical models, trend analyses, and forecasting tools to support fund administration workflows and client reporting.
- Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs by partnering with governance and quality initiatives.
- Documents analytical methodologies, data definitions, report logic, and model assumptions to support transparency and auditability.
- Monitors and optimizes Power BI and Snowflake query performance to ensure efficient, reliable report delivery.
- Stays current with emerging trends and capabilities in data science, analytics engineering, and business intelligence tooling.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Provides analytical guidance and mentorship to internal teams consuming data products.
- Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, defines KPIs, and translates analytical needs into scalable data products.
- Collaborates with technology team members to influence the design of data pipelines and structures that support analytics and reporting use cases.
- Mentors associates through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices, and advising on methods used.
May perform other duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or business intelligence, with strong hands‑on development and deployment of Power BI reports and data models in production environments.
- Experience querying and working with data in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, along with Power BI Service administration, low‑level security, and enterprise‑scale deployment.
- Financial services experience, ideally supporting fund administration or asset management platforms.
KNOWLEDGE
- ETL/ELT tools and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Regulatory and compliance considerations related to financial data.
- Statistical analysis, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis techniques.
- Machine learning or predictive modeling techniques applied to business use cases.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe Acrobat.
