Stannah is looking to recruit ambitious Apprentice Stairlift Engineers to join our Maintenance and Repair division.
You will cover a route across London and the South East.
This a great opportunity to earn, whilst you learn and continue your education. You will receive a starting salary of £17, 164 which will be reviewed regularly based on performance. Working hours will be: Monday to Thursday 8am-16:45pm and Friday 8am-15:45pm
Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:
- Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of stairlifts.
- Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
- Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
- Participate in at least 20% off-the-job training.
- Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Stairlift Engineer.
Training and Development:
- Duration of 24 - 28 months
- A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
- You will achieve an NVQ level 2 in Stairlift Engineering

Qualifications:Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Requirements:
- Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in Maths, English
- Have a keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
