Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Jobs in Orpington at Stannah - Join our TEAM ! 

Are you looking for an Engineering apprenticeship? Have you considered a career in Stairlift Engineering?

Stannah is looking to recruit ambitious Apprentice Stairlift Engineers to join our Maintenance and Repair division.

You will cover a route across London and the South East.

This a great opportunity to earn, whilst you learn and continue your education. You will receive a starting salary of £17, 164 which will be reviewed regularly based on performance. Working hours will be: Monday to Thursday 8am-16:45pm and Friday 8am-15:45pm

Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of stairlifts.
  • Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
  • Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
  • Participate in at least 20% off-the-job training.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Stairlift Engineer.

Training and Development:

  • Duration of 24 - 28 months
  • A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
  • You will achieve an NVQ level 2 in Stairlift Engineering

Qualifications:

Apprentice Stairlift Engineer Requirements:

  • Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in Maths, English
  • Have a keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
