Claims Associate II
Zurich Insurance is currently hiring a Claims Associate II to join their Workers’ Compensation Claims Team. This role involves managing a caseload of workers compensation claims and requires learning how to interpret policies and claims handling best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage workers compensation claims caseload that consists of low to moderate exposure
- Interpret, investigate and evaluate policies and coverage issues
- Claims handling and best practices
- Build partnerships with customers and brokers
- May be aligned to specific accounts
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing knowledge
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Adapt to a changing environment
