[Remote] Frontend Developer

Merget is building the next generation of developer tools, and they are seeking a Frontend Engineer to design and build high-performance user interfaces. The role involves creating responsive frontend interfaces, collaborating with the engineering team, and optimizing performance for data-heavy views.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, production-quality frontend interfaces using Svelte and TypeScript within a Tauri desktop application and on the web
• Design and implement interactive dashboards and dynamic graph/tree visualizations that surface complex data clearly for Merget Hub and the desktop app
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to define and ship new product features end-to-end
• Optimize rendering performance for data-heavy views and real-time updates
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and help establish UI/UX patterns as the team grows

Skills

• 1+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Svelte preferred)
• Hands-on experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or dynamic graph-based interfaces
• A sharp eye for design detail and a commitment to delivering clean, intuitive user experiences
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership
• Full-stack experience (Node.js, Python, or Rust backend work)
• Experience with Tauri or other desktop application frameworks (Electron, etc.)
• Experience with graph rendering libraries (D3.js, Cytoscape, React Flow, etc.)
• Familiarity with developer tools, version control internals, or AI-assisted workflows
