Finance Associate – Accounts Payable & Payroll (Remote)

We are inviting applications for a • *Finance Associate** to support a fast-growing, globally distributed AI-focused organization. In this position, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial processes, including accounts payable operations and payroll coordination. You will work across teams to ensure financial accuracy, maintain organized records, and support ongoing improvements to financial systems and workflows. • *What You’ll Be Doing** • Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor communication, and timely payments • Process U.S. payroll and support contractor or international payroll workflows while ensuring compliance and accuracy • Maintain payroll records and coordinate with internal teams on updates and queries • Record financial transactions and manage expenses using accounting and finance tools • Support month-end and year-end close processes while maintaining audit-ready documentation • Ensure adherence to financial controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • *What We’re Looking For** • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • 2–5+ years of experience in accounts payable and U.S. payroll • Hands-on experience with tools such as QuickBooks, Deel, or Brex • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and core accounting principles • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • *Nice to Have** • Experience working in AI, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations • Exposure to international payroll or contractor payment workflows • Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments • *Role Details** • Full-time position • Fully remote (U.S.-based candidates only) • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment If you’re looking to build and strengthen finance operations while working alongside a globally distributed team, this is a great opportunity to grow your impact.
