Job description: We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience, specializing in Performance Testing. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our software products under various conditions. Roles and Responsibilities: • Performance Testing: Design, develop, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure the scalability and reliability of our software products. • Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for performance testing. • Tool Proficiency: Proficient in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools to simulate load and stress conditions. • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization. • Scripting: Develop and maintain performance test scripts using scripting languages such as Python, Java, or others. • Monitoring and Diagnostics: Monitor system resources during performance tests, diagnose performance issues, and troubleshoot as necessary. • Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, and test results thoroughly for future reference and reporting. • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to address performance-related issues. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing. • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or others for test automation. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Relevant certifications in performance testing (e.g., ISTQB Performance Testing Certification) are a plus.
