What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain P&Ls for multiple entities, including startups and real estate projects
- Create financial models, budgets, pro formas, and scenario analyses
- Support fundraising efforts by preparing investor-ready financial packets
- Attend portfolio company meetings to address financial questions and operational modeling
- Collaborate with the accounting team to produce comprehensive financial analyses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10 - 20 hours of availability per week
- Baltimore-area local for occasional onsite meetings
- 3 - 7+ years of experience in financial operations and analysis, FP&A, or accounting
- Expert spreadsheet skills, including Google Sheets and Excel modeling
- Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with investor reporting or VC fundraising preparation
- Familiarity with financial aspects of restaurant, tech, or real estate industries
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple entities simultaneously
- Enjoyment of building detailed financial spreadsheets and models
