The Opportunity: As HKA continues to enhance our presence, expertise, and reputation across various fields and industries, we are expanding our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team. We are seeking a qualified Director with top-tier experience in forensic consulting, a broad knowledge of Commercial Damages focus areas, and the ability to contribute to our business development efforts. The focus will be on Insurance Claims, Business Interruption, Lost Profits, Intellectual Property, Investigations, and related disputes. Responsibilities: • Provide Expert Testimony and manage production of Expert reports. • Conduct various processes including Damage Modelling and Analysis in Economic Damage, Lost Profits analyses and more. • Direct client projects by collatingresearch and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. • Conduct fact-based investigations to test the validity of allegations using proven investigative approaches and the latest technology. • Communicate with client project liaison on a consistent basis. • Build complex models to analyze economic and financial data using spreadsheets and databases. • Conduct technology-enabled analysis of data to identify anomalies, relationships, or trends using the latest analytics and visualization platforms. • Communicate with clients using varying levels of complexity to relay data, findings and suggestions and manage their expectations effectively. • Work within deadlines/priorities acrossmultiple projects, delegating/collaborating with team members. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's or Advanced degrees in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics • Minimum 8 years'experience in Forensic Consulting or similar Financial Consulting rolesfocused on the following: • Analysis and calculation of damages in commercial disputes • Experience with insurance claims services • Analyzing delays, disruptions and cost overruns due to unforeseen events • Forensic and Investigation Services • Expert Reporting and Litigation Support • Experience providing Expert Testimony • Familiarity in Business Development and pursuing revenue generating opportunities. • Demonstratable Data Analysis expertise • CPA, CBV, CFE, or CFI What we offer: At HKA we recognize that our people are critical to our ongoing success.
