[Remote] Sr. Solutions Architect - SailPoint
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The SailPoint Architect is responsible for the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization’s SailPoint IdentityIQ-based Identity and Access Management environment, ensuring identity solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant.
Responsibilities
• Leads the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas. Provides technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration. Ensures that solution architectures follow relevant IT standards, principles and reference architectures
• Actively maintains recognized expert level knowledge in one or more IT domains. Supports and promotes the development and sharing of their knowledge within the organization.Collaborates with internal teams and vendors to identify and resolve issues in solution development and implementation.Develops and presents findings and guidance to selected audiences - including business and leadership teams
• Monitors the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies. Assesses and documents the impacts, threats and opportunities to the organization
• Designs large or complex systems and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs. Ensures that the system design balances functional and non-functional requirements
Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ administration and architecture
• Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM) principles
• Experience with Active Directory, role‑based access control, and group management
• Proven experience developing SailPoint rules, workflows, and integrations
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale identity platforms and access governance
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with Windows server administration and patching
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teams
• Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire
