REMOTE: Sr. Backend Developer (Node, Typescript, AWS)

Pattern for the enterprise services work is AWS serverless microservices primarily with S3, api gateway, lambda, SNS, SQS, Aurora RDS (PostgreSQL) built with CDK. Development language is javascript/node.js using jest testing framework with some docker mixed in for mocking/patching on integration tests. Must have requirements: • Node.JS: 5+ yrs and should be most recent experience • AWS: 5+ years' experience working with api gateway, lambda, aws batch, sns, sqs, aurora rds, s3, eventbridge, opensearch/elastic search, cloudwatch • Database storage experience with AuroraRDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, S3, etc. • Event driven architecture experience • Automated Testing Experience and/or TDD • Excellent Communication • Thrives in a collaborative environment • CI/CD experience • Enjoys mentoring software/mentoring software devs • Strong in SQL • Experience working with various database types relational and non-relational Nice to have • Experience working with infrastructure as code (ex: CDK) • AWS: Glue, X-Ray, Opensearch/Elasticsearch, Fargate, Step Functions • BDD implementation experience using tools like Cucumber • Glue/Pyspark/Hadoop experience • Insurance/healthcare experience • 3+ years of leading/mentoring other devs managing code reviews, collaborating on design decisions, etc. Required Skills : Senior to lead level engineers only - Large enterprise or Healthcare background will be preferred Node.JS: 5+ yrs AWS: 5+ years' experience working with api gateway, lambda, aws batch, sns, sqs, aurora rds, s3, eventbridge, opensearch/elastic search, cloudwatch Database storage experience with AuroraRDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, S3, etc. Event driven architecture experience Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check : Yes Drug Screen : No Notes : Selling points for candidate : Project Verification Info :The information provided below is for Apex Systems AV use only and is not to be distributed publicly, or to any third party.
