Key Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction & Support: Answer inbound calls with empathy, collect detailed medical and medication histories, and provide clear explanations about refill processes.
- Coordination with Clinical Teams: Collaborate daily with physicians, pharmacists, and billing specialists to align medication schedules, verify prescriptions, and address any clinical questions.
- Data Accuracy & Entry: Accurately input patient information—including shipping addresses, insurance details, and payment data—into arenaflex’s secure pharmacy management system.
- Issue Resolution & Follow‑Up: Own the end‑to‑end patient experience, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries, proactive follow‑up on pending items, and 100% completion of required documentation.
- Escalation Management: Identify complex billing or reimbursement concerns and promptly escalate them to Senior Billing & Reimbursement Specialists for swift action.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Uphold all regulatory standards, maintain HIPAA adherence, and participate in ongoing quality audits to guarantee the highest level of service.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on fertility medication advances, insurance policy changes, and arenaflex’s internal processes through regular training sessions.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) license for candidates residing in Arizona.
- Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (preferably CPhT) for candidates residing in Massachusetts.
- High School Diploma or GED; additional post‑secondary education in health‑care or pharmacy is a plus.
- Proven customer‑service experience with a focus on accuracy, organization, and time management.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and basic pharmacy‑software interfaces.
- Ability to work remotely from within Arizona or within a reasonable commuting distance of Newburyport, MA.
- Reliable broadband or fiber‑optic internet connection meeting minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
