The Role We are currently seeking exceptional IB Chemistry specialists to conduct after-school online tutoring sessions. Our system is designed for educators who are passionate about the IB framework and capable of delivering elite-level academic support. Mandatory Requirements • Education: Minimum University graduate with a degree in Chemistry, biology or a highly related scientific discipline. • IB Expertise: Direct, extensive experience with the IB Chemistry curriculum. You must either be a former IB student yourself or possess significant experience tutoring IB Chemistry, including proven expertise in guiding students through the Internal Assessment (IA). • Technology: Must possess a graphing tablet (or equivalent stylus input device) to effectively demonstrate complex chemical equations and molecular structures in real-time. This is a non-negotiable requirement for all of our Science and Math educators. • Clearance: Willingness to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check prior to commencing work. • Language: Native or fully fluent English proficiency. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging, high-fidelity online IB Chemistry instruction tailored to individual student learning profiles and school timelines. • Diagnose educational blockages and explain complex chemical concepts clearly and effectively. • Provide expert, curriculum-specific guidance on the IB Chemistry Internal Assessment (IA). • Adapt pedagogical strategies to foster a positive learning environment, including accommodations for students with special education requirements. • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, which includes submitting detailed session reports within 48 hours of each session.
