Who we are:
nimble solutions (“nimble” and f/k/a National Medical) is currently seeking a Vice President, Coding Quality Assurance. nimble provides revenue cycle outsourcing services to ambulatory surgery centers (“ASCs”), surgical practices, surgical hospitals, and anesthesia groups. This role provides leadership to the quality assurance team by establishing tools, workflows, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency. Additionally, the VP will monitor results to ensure that the quality and production of work meet expectations while also maintaining the quality assurance program for coding resources onshore and offshore, across multiple specialties, to ensure that timelines are met. The Vice President, Coding Quality Assurance, will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a process to identify risk and partner with education and operations to ensure quality scores exceed the service requirements.
On a typical day, you will:
• Creates and manages ongoing coding quality assurance program requirements, including standard operating procedures, sampling, scoring, and performance management methodology
• Monitors QA scores for onshore and offshore coding resources by specialty and client. Provides feedback to education and operation teams to establish action plans
• Monitor trends to identify educational needs for onshore and offshore resources
• Identifies risk to establish specialty or client-specific targeted QA plans, which require continuous monitoring and remediation plans
• Maintains an internal QA plan for the team to ensure the quality and integrity of the program
• Oversees the preparation of the client reporting related to quality scores and associated action plans
• Partners with the business unit to create a comprehensive team to support the clients and the coders
• Provides subject matter expertise in coding-related inquiries to both internal and external stakeholders
• Provides strategic leadership to the team and maintains employee engagement
Requirements
Who you are...
Education and Experience:
• 10 years of coding experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• 5 years of Quality Assurance auditing experience
